Who is responsible
Morocode LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company with its registered office at 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: [email protected].
Scope
This policy covers morocode.com and the general handling of customer data across our business. Each product has its own privacy policy with product-specific details, which applies in addition to this one: see the Voisinia privacy policy and our mobile app policies.
This website
- No tracking cookies, no analytics, no advertising. morocode.com sets no cookies and loads no third-party trackers. Fonts are served from our own server.
- Server logs. Like any website, our server records technical data for each request (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). We use it only to keep the site running and secure, and delete it after 30 days.
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep your email address and message to answer you and, where relevant, to handle your account or order.
Customers and accounts
When you buy one of our products, we process:
- identity and contact details: name, business name, email address, phone number if you give it, and billing country;
- account data: login details (passwords are stored hashed), settings and preferences;
- service data: the information and content you give us to provide the service, for example business details, photos, and access to the online accounts you connect;
- billing records: what you bought, amounts, dates, invoices and refund history.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's secure forms; we never receive or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us limited information such as the last four digits, card brand, expiry date and payment status. Stripe processes payment data under its own privacy policy, including for fraud prevention.
Why we use data
| Purpose | Legal basis (where GDPR applies) |
|---|---|
| Providing the product you bought, and your account | Performance of a contract |
| Billing, invoices, refunds and accounting records | Contract and legal obligation |
| Answering your messages and support requests | Contract or legitimate interest |
| Keeping our services secure and preventing fraud | Legitimate interest |
| Service emails (payment receipts, important changes) | Contract |
| Product news by email, only if you opted in | Consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with providers that help us run our services, under contracts that limit their use of it:
- Stripe (payments and invoicing);
- Contabo GmbH, Germany (server hosting);
- Cloudflare (network delivery and protection of our websites);
- email delivery providers, to send account and billing emails;
- for specific products, the platforms you ask us to act on, such as Google or Meta, and an AI text provider used to draft content; details are in each product's privacy policy.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute.
International transfers
Morocode LLC is established in the United States and our servers are in the European Union. Your data may therefore be processed in countries other than your own. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Account and service data: while your account is active, then deleted within 90 days of closing it, unless you ask sooner.
- Billing records and invoices: as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally up to 7 years.
- Support emails: up to 3 years after the last exchange.
- Server logs: 30 days.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access limited to people who need it, regular updates and backups. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict some processing, and withdraw consent. Write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Our business products are for professionals and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version. We will tell customers by email about significant changes.
